Lotus Evija
The name Evija comes from Eve, a figure in the Abrahamic religions. Its roots can be traced back to the Biblical Hebrew word חי, which translates to 'alive' or 'living'.
The Evija was originally equipped with a 70 kilowatt-hours battery pack, created in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering, and it features electric motors provided by Integral Powertrain. In 2022, Lotus upgraded to a 93 kilowatt-hours battery. Each of the four motors is located at the wheels and is rated at 375 kW (503 hp), resulting in a total combined output of 1,500 kW (2,011 hp) and 1,704 Nm of torque. The Evija sports 20-inch magnesium wheels in the front and 21-inch wheels in the rear, along with carbon ceramic disc brakes underneath. The Evija can sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in less than 3 seconds, reach 190 mph (300 km/h) in 9.1 seconds, and has a limited top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h).
