Mercedes AMG

The Mercedes-AMG One, which comes with a price tag of £2.4 million and was originally referred to as the 'Project ONE,' is constructed using the chassis from the 2016 Mercedes F1 W07 Formula One car. It boasts a specially modified 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engine that is derived from the same racing model. Given the complex design of Formula One cars, the engine in the ONE is intended to operate for only 31,000 miles (50,000 km), after which it must be returned to Mercedes for a thorough overhaul. Alongside the Formula 1 engine, the ONE is also fitted with four electric motors that collectively generate over 986 bhp, allowing it to reach a remarkable top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h). It can sprint from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in a mere 2.5 seconds. One of the electric motors is responsible for keeping the turbocharger spinning, effectively eliminating any turbo lag, while another motor drives the rear wheels, and the last two power the front wheels.

This incredible vehicle combines cutting-edge technology with high-performance engineering, making it a true marvel in the automotive world. The Mercedes-AMG One not only showcases the brand's commitment to innovation but also offers an exhilarating driving experience that few can match. With its unique blend of Formula One heritage and advanced electric propulsion, the ONE stands out as a symbol of what the future of Hypercars can look like.
