Vanda Dendrobium (2016)

Vanda, a company based in Singapore, focuses on battery technology and electric mobility, and it serves as the parent organisation for Wong Fong Engineering. This engineering firm is well-known for its expertise in cranes, tailgates, and military equipment, making it a significant player in the industry. Although Vanda has never ventured into car manufacturing and has no intentions of doing so, it does have some intriguing products in its lineup. The most notable among them is the charming Motochimp electric scooter, along with the Ant Truck, a robust one-tonne electric vehicle designed for heavy loads, which is set to enter production before 2018.

The Dendrobium project was conceived as a flagship initiative to generate excitement and recognition for the Vanda brand. To date, six units of this model have been produced and sold, with plans in place to manufacture an additional ten vehicles, showcasing the company's commitment to innovation and growth in the electric mobility sector.
